The color is a sweet lilac and reminds me of my former garden in California where we had a full lilac bush with that has such a sweet fragrance. Even the lace reminds me of the shape of the flowers. This feminine cowl with a gorgeous lace border and a beaded neckline is just as sweet. The lace is a joy to knit and easily memorized. The beads add more charm as does the split open and decreased neckline. A video link is included for how to add the beads with a crochet hook method. The pattern is written and has a chart for the lace portion. Blocked measurements: Neckline 22” in circumference Lace circumference 60” Height 17”.
