SONAR Cube The SONAR Cube is the foundational element of the SONAR system — a sculptural stainless steel volume defined by clarity, proportion, and material presence. Handcrafted from 2 mm brushed stainless steel, the Cube functions both as a practical storage object and as an architectural element within the space. Open on one side and closed at the back, it creates a calm visual balance between display and concealment — offering space for vinyl records, books, and carefully selected objects. The exterior surfaces are brushed by hand, while the interior receives a subtle Scotch finish that softens reflections and gives the material additional depth and texture. Each Cube is fully welded, refined, and individually finished in our workshop, resulting in seamless edges, precise geometry, and a distinctly tactile surface. Designed as the core element of the SONAR system, the Cube can stand entirely on its own or combine with the SONAR Body to form larger architectural compositions with open and closed volumes. Its proportions allow it to integrate naturally into evolving arrangements — from single sculptural objects to expansive modular structures.
