Designed to work primarily with SoundID Reference speaker calibration software, the SONARWORKS SoundID Reference Measurement Microphone is used to measure the frequency response of your room and speakers, capturing the acoustic characteristics of your listening environment and allowing the separately available software to correct unwanted sonic inaccuracies in your monitoring system. The microphone features a small-diaphragm, electret condenser capsule with an omnidirectional polar pattern, and each mic is individually calibrated, ensuring a flat frequency response with optimal precision. It is supplied with a 0° on-axis calibration file for use in third-party applications, a 30° off-axis calibration file for use in SONARWORKS SoundID Reference software, and a 21-day trial version of SoundID Reference. Features Pre-polarized, electret-condenser capsule with omnidirectional polar pattern Individually measured by SONARWORKS acousticians against an ANSI-certified measurement microphone Accurate within the audible range and free from sample-to-sample irregularities 20 Hz to 20 kHz flat frequency response Includes microphone calibration file for 30° off-axis measurements in .swmic format (Sonarworks software native format) to be used with SoundID Reference Includes microphone calibration file for 0° on-axis measurements in .txt format for third-party use Includes 21-day trial version of SoundID Reference software (Mac or Windows) Specifications Microphone Form Factor Stand/Boom Mount Intended Sound Sources Room Ambiance Sound Field Mono Operating Principle Pressure Operated Element Type Electret Condenser Polar Pattern Omnidirectional Pad None High-Pass Filter None Tone Adjustment None Gain Adjustment None Indicators None On-Board Controls None Windscreen None Performance Frequency Range 20 Hz to 20 kHz Maximum SPL 128 dB SPL Peak Impedance 200 Ohms Sensitivity -37 dB Dynamic Range 106 dB Signal-to-Noise Ratio 70 dB Equivalent Noise Level 24 dB Connectivity Headphone Connector None Power Operating Voltage 9 to 52 V (Phantom Power) Physical Color Silver Mounting Mic Clip/Stand Adapter (with Optional Hardware) Included Case None Included Filters None Construction Material Aluminum Dimensions ø: 0.83 x L: 7.56" / ø: 2.11 x L: 19.2 cm Weight 5.2 oz / 147 g
