The HVL-F45RM Wireless Radio Flash from Sony is equipped with an integrated 2.4 GHz radio transceiver, enabling users to swiftly establish portable lighting configurations with comprehensive support for P-TTL / ADI metering. This flash can function as either a commander or a remote unit, fully compatible with Sony's existing radio commanders and receivers. It features ratio control, the capability to operate with up to 15 flashes across five groups, and access to 14 channels. Furthermore, it is compatible with Sony's optical wireless flash system, allowing it to serve as both a commander and a remote unit. Enhancements over the previous model include a reduction in size and weight by more than 10%, while the guide number has been improved to 148' at ISO 100 and 105mm, and the recycle time has been decreased to 2.5 seconds. The flash provides full bounce capabilities, with a tilt range from -8 to 150° and a complete rotation of 360°.
