This handmade pot made in our home studio located in Dallas, TX. Pots are thrown on the pottery wheel and trimmed. Each piece is then decorated and hand painted with underglaze. After it dries, it goes through a bisque firing in a kiln. Afterwards it is glazed and refired again to a higher temperature. This process means that each piece is unique and no two pieces are exactly alike. Please be aware that glaze differences and minor flaws may occur. All Maro Ceramics pieces are made with commercial glazes that are lead free, food safe and microwave and dishwasher safe, unless indicated otherwise. Hand washing is recommended. Ceramics is a material with a low absorption rate, so it is recommended to not leave liquids in the cup for longer than 24 hours.
