This marks the end of the line for HF and Sony production of tapes. In fact, I thought they had stopped much earlier than 1012! How can current tape manufacturers produce a high quality Type I cassette such as this one, and sell it for than $3 USD?! You can buy a brand new "freshly manufactured" 60 minutes tape for roughly $7.00 USD each, but it's still not of superior quality, and all the other parts are also definitely not of superior quality.
