SONY Standard Remote Control Panel is a compact camera control panel designed for direct, hands-on operation in Sony production camera workflows. It combines a touch panel, physical control switches, assignable buttons, and network connectivity in a slim panel that can be mounted in a 19-inch EIA rack. For broadcast engineers and camera operators, this panel is useful when camera setup and adjustment need to happen quickly from one control position. It keeps common camera functions close at hand, while still supporting file handling, LAN control, HDR-related operation, and direct scene file access. Instead of digging through camera menus or relying only on software control, key functions can be placed directly on the panel for faster access. The assignable buttons are especially helpful in real production work. Engineers can map frequently used functions to the panel, making repeated setup tasks quicker and reducing the chance of pressing the wrong control during a busy show. USB flash drive support is also practical for camera setup and maintenance. RCP settings, CAM / CCU / BPU scene files, reference files, and HDR-related settings can be saved or loaded, making it easier to move setup data between jobs or keep backup configurations ready.
