High-density acoustic plasterboard, 12.5mm thick, supplied in 2400mm × 1200mm (8'×4') sheets with a tapered edge — classified as Type DI to BS EN 520. Engineered to absorb more air borne sound transmission than standard wallboard, making it the preferred specification for separating walls in flats and HMOs, party walls between dwellings, home cinemas and music rooms.
