Yamada Sou Wood fired blue Pitcher Vase 山田想 YS46 Beautiful wood-fired vessels with round bodies and graceful curves. The flowing blue glaze creates a dreamy, mysterious effect, wit h shell marks adding unique accents. The red tones around the rim contrast strikingly with the blue, enhancing the piece’s artistic presence. Made from white, slightly coarse clay that complements the blue hue, these pieces carry a satisfying weight and sense of stability. Ideal for serving water, tea, or sake, they offer a smooth, steady pour and clean stop. Their form also makes them suitable for use as a flower vase. Crafted by Sou Yamada, grandson of Jozan Yamada III—designated a Living National Treasure—these works continue five generations of the Yamada family's teapot-making legacy.
