How to Make Sourdough Bread Ingredients: Sourdough bread mix, 1.75 lb. mix (approx. 5 cups), 1 3/4 cup warm water, 1 1/2 tbsp. dry yeast. Add yeast to water and let sit for five min. Add mix and stir until the mix is wet. Knead or mix until smooth. Cover dough & let rise for 40-45 min. Divide into two loaves & place on a sheet pan (covered) for 30-45 min.
