An in-depth look at the process of making sourdough from start to finish. This class is an overview of the world of sourdough and helps you really get to grips with everything from starters, mixing, bulk formation, shaping, retarding, scoring and baking. Ciarán will also prepare a light lunch/dinner during the event, using stale breads to create easy and interesting dishes to help highlight how to make the most of your newfound skills. The class also includes a detailed booklet, going into great detail about how to do this at home and the guiding hand Ciarán wished he’d had when he was teaching himself back just before the pandemic.
