Is it an illusion of city pop? ◆Despite having almost no experience performing live, they performed at the Fuji Rock Festival, and at the digital single release party Tokyo edition they played alongside such impressive names as Lucky Old Sun, and at the Kyoto edition they played alongside Oorutaichi and Greek Love, attracting attention. Now, it has been decided that they will release their debut album! Support members include important figures in the scene, such as Nikaho Yoshio, who has supported YOGEE NEW WAVES in the past, and Miyasaka Ryotaro, who is also a member of Orisaka Yuta (ensemble). ◆The songs "ame" and "alaska" from the previous EP are newly recorded. The song "alpaca", which was released as a pre-release single prior to the album, was introduced as a song recommended by FLAKE RECORDS manager DAWA as a song to listen to now, and was also selected by Gotch (Masafumi Goto) in his Spotify playlist "2019 Favorite Songs". ◆The song "air" features Zhuangzi it from Dos Monos, who released the album "Dos City" as a guest artist this spring and caused a stir in the Japanese hip-hop scene, creating a surprising and wonderful combination. The impressive and pastoral jacket illustration of penguins and alpacas is by Machida Hirochika. The producer, recorder and mixer is Okada Takuro (ex. Mori wa Ikiteiru), who has worked on all of South Penguin's works since their first EP, and mastering was done by padok.
