(Fuchsia) Southgate Fuchsia is a must have for your porch hanging baskets! Southgate features upside down flowers that trail at the end of deep red stems. These flowers feature baby pink outer petals (called sepals) and a double pink corolla (inner petals). Its flowers contrast nicely against dark green, glossy foliage. Southgate grows in a trailing habit, and can reach a maximum height of 4-8 inches and a maximum width of 18 - 24 inches. It's the perfect plant for hanging baskets, containers, or window boxes. It grows best in part shade to full shade areas, and requires average watering. We also recommend feeding your annuals weekly during the season with a water-soluble fertilizer.
