Soy Can NO.1, replaces the familiar sardine with a soy sauce fish container, transforming a playful object into a commentary on consumption and waste. What first appears as an ordi nary sardine can reveals something unsettling, the substitution of food with plastic, blurring the line between nourishment and pollution. The piece invites us to reflect on what we consume, and the hidden materials that end up on our plates. This artwork is derived from an original charcoal drawing, digitally scanned and enhanced with colour through digital colourisation.
