🧴 SpaGuard Total Alkalinity Increaser – 2 lb Maintain balanced, comfortable spa water with SpaGuard Total Alkalinity Increaser. Specially formulated to raise total alkalinity in hot tubs and spas, this product prevents pH bounce and protects your spa’s surfaces and equipment from corrosive water conditions. ✅ Stabilizes Water Chemistry: Reduces rapid changes in pH for a safer, more enjoyable soak 🛡️ Protects Equipment & Surfaces: Prevents corrosion of heaters, pumps, and spa shells 📈 Improves Sanitizer Efficiency: Ensures bromine and chlorine work properly 🧪 Easy Dosing: 0.5 oz (1 tablespoon) per 100 gallons raises alkalinity by ~25 ppm 💧 Compatible: Safe for all spa surfaces (acrylic, fiberglass, vinyl, plaster) How to Use: Test your spa water’s total alkalinity using test strips or a reliable test kit. If adjustment is needed, add the recommended dose by broadcasting product evenly across the water surface with the pump running. Wait at least 4 hours, then re-test and repeat if necessary. 🔁 Repeat as needed based on test results. ⚠️ Always adjust alkalinity before pH for best results. 📝 Add in small increments to avoid overshooting the target range (80–120 ppm recommended). Pro Tip: Low alkalinity is a leading cause of pH instability and foamy water. Keeping your total alkalinity in range helps create a more balanced, comfortable spa environment and extends the life of your equipment.
