Carved from a striking piece of spalted beech from the Lanhydrock estate with these wild, flame-like lines running right through the bowl — proper show-off grain. The spalting’s na tural, just what the wood offered, and it’s come out beautifully in this one. The bowl has long, clean facets carved from tip to neck. Finished straight from the knife, no sanding, so you can see and feel the tool marks all the way through.
