The trees bodies were pushed underground and compressed into fossils and over time became stone. A tree that was compressed in the earth for millions of years and became a stone—that’s worth exploring. This gives jet the memory and complexity of tree life and the power and wisdom of being an ancient stone. It is intelligent, very strong (spiritually), and can handle complex situations. It has always been used as a protective talisman because shamans all over the world could feel its inner strength and the power that ripples out around it.
