This variety is not as hardy as others, so take care to insulate when temperatures drop to 15 degrees or below. Growth Habit At maturity, this plant reaches 18-36" both tall and wide and has intensely fragrant flowers when the plant is thriving. Care Site in a spot with good drainage and average to poor soils that gets 6-8 hours of full sun. Prune after the first wave of blooms to encourage a healthy plant, new growth, and subsequent bloom cycles. Do not over water! Lavender can withstand drought. Water only when the soil has dried out.
