Mid-season, Rocambole type. Probably the most popular hardneck type because most garlic lovers find the flavor to be “true garlic”. A Northwest heirloom that was reported to have b een brought into Northwest Oregon before 1900, it is often called Greek garlic by home gardeners throughout the region. Garlic is shipped only in the fall—starting in mid-September, depending on the season and the variety. Quantities are limited; order early for best availability.
