When the sockeye return to spawn in freshwater, they morph, from sleek and silver to vermillion and verdant. This pop of fresh color makes a gorgeous addition to any rustic-chic in terior. Original gyotaku made from Sumi ink and watercolor on mulberry fibre. Reproduced on museum grade cotton fibre using archival, acid-free inks.
