SPEARMINT LEAF is a dried minty leaf. The leaf is mentioned in Roman mythology and was used for its deodorizing scent as well as its appetizing flavour. When 'mint' is called for i n savoury recipes, it is SPEARMINT that should be used. It can be found in Persian, Turkish, Thai and Moroccan cuisines, to name only a few.
