Nepenthes veitchii is one of the most famous and desirable of all carnivorous plants. With squat, fuzzy pitchers and dramatically flared peristomes, the form from Bario in Borneo is probably the best in cultivation. This release is BE-3734, a selection of clones from Borneo Exotics. This clone has pitchers that start electric yellow-green, and age into an elegant reddish bronze. The specimen on offer has a leaf span of more than 8 inches, and as you can see the pitchers are phenomenal.
