This is a Spectrum Complete V5 Control Box with Wired Battery Kit which includes the battery, control box (receiver), charger, an extra fuse cap, and 2-pin connector. The kit can be used to update old Spectrum V4 lift battery systems. Purchasing this kit, rather than the items separately, saves you a significant amount of money. The Female 2 Pin Connector is the connector that is at the end of V5. Battery power wire. This is the connection that enters the side port of the wired receiver (control box). The Fuse Cap is what is used as the 15 AMP fuse in place for the V5 wired battery. The battery comes with the fuse cap but this is an extra replacement part. The fuse is required for operation of he BP5 battery. To maintain the battery properly, the battery must be fully charged monthly. If the battery goes for longer than three months without a charge, the battery will have significantly reduced capacity.
