For the past two years, TGCE fans have been enjoying Spiced Chestnut Crème in our Chestnog, chestnut lattes, and chestnut pastries at cafes, bakeries, and restaurants across NYC. We're delighted to finally bring a jarred version to your kitchen table! We take the freshest, nuttiest American-grown chestnuts and blitz them with maple syrup, coconut oil, sugar, and salt, then swirl in vanilla paste, cinnamon, cardamom, and allspice. The result is a thick, smooth spread with a complex sweetness and a perfectly-warm spice level — your new favorite cold-weather flavor. It's delicious simply spread on toast or frothed into a latte, but it can be used in baked goods, cocktails, and more! Use it anywhere you might use frangipane, pistachio créme, pumpkin spice spread, cookie butter, or nutella. For optimal freshness, we fulfill orders every Monday. Please refrigerate the jarred crème upon arrival and keep cool until it’s time to share the joy. Best used within three months of the manufacture date marked on the jar.
