About Our Candles We never use paraffin. Our candles are made with soy wax, which is all-natural, vegan, biodegradable and additive-free. Soy wax burns slowly, giving a longer burn time without significant black smoke. Our fragrance oils are vegan, cruelty-free and IFRA compliant, formulated to meet UK product safety regulations. So our candles are good for your senses, your health and the planet we call home. Because we use natural soy wax, colours and finishes may vary slightly between candles, and you may see some frosting where the wax doesn't coat the glass evenly. None of this affects how the candle performs. Candle Care and Safety Tips Trim the wick to 5mm (1/4") before the first burn and before each burn after that, for a cleaner, better burn. On the first burn especially, let the melted wax reach close to the edges of the jar to prevent tunnelling. Don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time, and let the wax set fully before relighting. Keep lit candles at least 10cm (4") apart. Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from anything flammable. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
