There is no denying it: we love the naturals from V. MANE Fils, but we also love their bases, an area in which we ourselves are specialists. Spicyrup™ is one such base. Built aroun d an overdose of the MANE captive Presantone H™, this base opens with dank earthiness and dries down into a rich gourmand accord reminiscent of carrot cake, caramel, liquorice, and spices. An incredibly unique and unusual base, the possibilities are endless. The loamy opening is crying out for a rich patchouli pairing, while the exceptionally balanced, vanilla-leaning dry down would work beautifully with a classic Tabu-like blend, albeit in a highly modernised context.
