Irish Birds I have given each bird its Irish name. I’ve chosen four birds that I love and that are commonly seen in the Irish countryside and on my bird table here in Ballivor. Spi deog or Robin which is much loved by many and often seen as a messenger from the spirit world. Each piece is made on cotton that is printed with my design and then stitched by machine and by hand. A layer of wadding is added to create a relief effect after stitching. Show more
