You'll never spend a dull moment with this pet-safe pal, as it continually shoots out new leaves and even baby plants tha t dangle on long stems like appendages, hence the plant's common name "Spider Plant." For best results display in a brightly-lit interior with plenty of 3D space, as well as space below for the babies to dangle. This is a great candidate for a macrame planter or taller plant stand. The Bonnie variety of Spider Plant is a curly variety that can be slightly harder to find. Spider plants are easy peasy - tolerant of both under and over watering. They prefer bright gentle light but will perform just fine in a variety of lighting conditions in the home. They may burn or bleach in a hot window. As a bonus, Spider Plants are totally pet safe - however I've noticed that kitties love to play with the leaves! So you may want to place it somewhere out of reach of curious critters. Show more
