Hook the spike at the top of the ruler over the table edge so the aluminum bar lies flat across the tile or panel. Press down on the ruler to seat the wooden base against the surface — the spike prevents the ruler from sliding while you score. Run your score wheel or oscillating blade along the aluminum edge in one steady pass. For use with the Alpha® EZ Thin Tile Cutter, remove the wooden base so the ruler seats directly on the cutter rails.
