You may have heard of our mill's collaboration with The Farmers Daughter Fibers, resulting in The Spinster's Daughter Worsted. We spin it; they dye it. Well, Spin Spun Worsted is the very same base that we mill for our friends to dye, now available to you! The fiber content and construction is exactly the same as Dream State, which makes it that soft and squishy 3-ply yarn you know and love. Dye your very own MC to pair perfectly with your favorite Dream State. Maybe a Framed sweater is in your future? These skeins are ideal for Abundant Earth's Wool Tincture Dye kits! Note: When you receive your Spin Spun skeins, they will not yet have been washed. Once washed and/or dyed they will become approximately 20% fuller. Please do not gauge swatch before washing. The examples here were dyed naturally by our one of our amazing millers, Rei, with mushrooms (that she harvested herself!) and avocado skins and pits! There are so many options for dyeing to create your very own unique skeins. "What even is a Second?" you may ask. Seconds are skeins that didn’t meet our standards when they made their way through the many hands of our production crew during quality control. For Spin Spun, "Seconds" may indicate: Slubs Pigtails Underweight or overweight skeins Funky ply But don't worry! You will still get a skein that is full yardage. Each bag is a $120 value for $65!
