Our Spinach Saagwala is the easiest way we know to get greens into a meal without anyone complaining about it. Spinach, onion, tomato and whole spices. Medium spice, max flavour. It's the paste people reach for on a weeknight instead of making it from scratch. Customers tell us their kids with limited palates love it, and at the markets we hear that our saagwala paste beats anything you'd find in a supermarket. If you want to replicate that restaurant palak paneer, saag paneer or lamb saag at home, this is the shortcut you were looking for. One jar, dinner for four, wheat-free and dairy-free. What to make with it tonight: Palak paneer Fry cubes of paneer until golden. Warm the paste in a pan, add the paneer and simmer for 10 minutes. Finish with yogurt or cream. Rice or roti on the side. Lamb or chicken saagwala Brown 500g of diced meat, add the paste and a splash of water, then let it go low and slow until the meat is tender soft. Finish with some yoghurt or coconut milk. The lazy option Stir 2 tbsp of the saagwala paste through cream cheese for a dip, or spoon it over white fish and bake. Want more ideas? Read our full blog post → Nutrition
