Saturday, March 29th - 2:30pm to 5:30pm AND Sunday, March 30th - 11:00am to 2:00pm Want to take your yarn obsession to the next level? In this weekend intensive, you will learn the basics of spinning: drafting, creating a singles, and making a 2-ply yarn. You will spin approximately 4 ounces of local, Maine fiber. Cost is $175, which includes approximately $22 in materials. Spinning wheels will be provided for class, but you are welcome to bring your own. If you end up loving spinning, you're welcome to rent a wheel for $21/week. If you'd like to purchase a wheel, you may credit up to $126 (5 weeks) of the rental fees toward your wheel purchase! This way you can try a few different models before making a decision. Class Cancelation Policy: If you cancel more than 30 days before the beginning of your class, we will offer you store credit in the amount of your class. Cancelation with less than 30 days notice will result in the forfeiture of your entire course fee. However, if we are able to fill your spot, we will offer store credit in the amount of the class. If we cancel a class, you can choose to receive a full refund or store credit.
