The form is shaped into a controlled spiral, maintaining consistent tension and spacing throughout the curve. Material:solid brass Dimensions:approx. 2.5 inches in length Weight:lightweight Process:The wire is annealed to soften the metal, then shaped by hand into a continuous spiral. The form is refined through incremental adjustments to achieve balance and proportion. After shaping, the piece is work-hardened, filed, and progressively sanded.
