Sheartak Spiral Cutterhead for Busy Bee B705 20" Planer comes with a total 100 carbide inserts on 5 spirals. 5 extra carbide inserts and 5 screws are provided as spare parts. Two J apan-made NSK premium sealed bearings are provided. The bearing on the pulley side is pre-installed onto the shaft. The bearing at the idol end is included and has to be mounted during placing this end into the gearbox. We ship by Canada Post, USPS, and UPS. Sheartak spiral cutterhead leaves a superior surface finish over straight-edge cutterheads. The round-edged inserts are angled for a shear-cut that leaves a smooth glassy cut even on highly figured woods or very soft wood. Each insert has four cutting edges and can be rotated up to 3 times to reveal a fresh sharp edge. No more sharpening and resetting when an insert gets dull or nicked. Carbide inserts stay sharp 50 times longer than HSS blades. Dust extraction is much easier with the shorter and thinner chips cut by Sheartak spiral cutterheads.
