Spirit Walker Wolves and ravens have long fascinated me, and over the years they have appeared together in many of my paintings. Both are deeply woven into the mythology, stories, and imagination of the North, and their relationship in the wild has always inspired me. Created while living in Alaska, Spirit Walker was an exploration of the mystery and atmosphere of the northern night. The moonlit landscape, the movement of the ravens, and the solitary wolf create a sense of presence, wonder, and quiet freedom. Rather than illustrating a specific story, Spirit Walker invites the viewer into a world where the wild feels timeless, mysterious, and alive.
