Spirits Shop's Selection is founded by Eric Huang, one of the foremost whisky experts in Asia. Eric is the only Asian judge of WWA (World Whisky Award), and is also the chairman of the Taiwan and Hong Kong Single Malt Whisky Association (SMWS). These limited release series is a product of art in terms of taste and presentation. This expression brings to mind 'Strength & Prowess' 10) Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky – Speyside Region Single Malt 1994 Distilled in 1994 / Bottled in 2015 / 21 yo Sherry Cask / 51.2% alc. / 700mL / Total 267 bottles Sometimes, just let the flavor speak for itself! The Speyside Region Single Malt 1994 Sherry Cask is handpicked by Spirits Shop’ Selection. Without mentioning the distillery of origin, this whisky is as mysterious as its label: Utagawa Hiroshige’s “Fukagawa Susaki and Jūmantsubo”. This is the most mysterious artwork from Hiroshige; till date, no art scholars could explain the story behind this piece of artwork. This expression brings to mind 'Ahhhh....the great Mystery!' Spirits Shops' Selection was unveiled at Whisky Luxe Taiwan in December 2014 where it became an immediate hit. The bottles were all sold out within a few days. In 2015, a new series of Spirits Shops' Selection whisky were exhibited at the Whisky Festival in Germany. It was met with much fanfare due to the unique label design for the bottles and the exquisite taste of the whisky. In the same year, Spirits Shops' Selection became partner and supplier with La Masion Du Whisky in France and Isetan in Japan.
