The Magic of Garnet Garnet has been used as a sacred stone by the Native American Indians, the South American Indians, the Aztecs, the African tribal elders, and the Mayans. Garnet was known as the stone which was the source of illumination for Noah in the Ark. The stone’s intense red colour led to the belief that it glowed with its own light. It acts with speed due to the flash of lightening contained within, helping us to change our world by helping us to open up to expanded awareness and manifestation. The loving powers of Garnet tend to reflect the attributes of devotion bringing the love of others to expressions of warmth and understanding. It is quite helpful in moods of abandonment and provides a protective influence and a calming stable vitality during use. The Garnet balances and stimulates the development and movement of the Kundalini.
