Crossed Xs sit in place of eyes, and the whole piece is finished in a neo-medical cartoon style that blends pop-art irreverence with anatomical illustration. At 70cm tall, this designer bear sculpture is sized as a tabletop or plinth-scale statement piece. Neo-Medical Cartoon, Split-Form Construction Cast in premium resin from a bespoke split-anatomy master mould, the sculpture is hand-finished across both halves: the solid side carries a muted grey-toned bear surface with the standard rounded designer-toy contours, while the cutaway side reveals sculpted internal forms — ribcage suggestions, the bright red heart as the visual anchor, and exposed brain detail across the upper skull. Each anatomical element is hand-painted by our studio finishers in a deliberately graphic, comic-book palette: rouge red, muted greys, illustrative line work. The Xs for eyes are painted in flat black against the muted face, completing the pop art bear styling. The seam between the two halves is treated as a clean cross-section, not a join — emphasising the conceptual split as the central design idea rather than hiding it.
