A Split King bed still has the overall dimensions of a standard king size, but the fitted sheets are actually made up of a set of two, which each have the dimensions of 39” by 80”. Especially since split beds may have varying mattress heights, our fitted sheets feature deep pockets which will fit thicknesses from 6” to 16” to allow each side of the bed to adjust. The blended fabric uses polyester as the other component, in order to provide pliability, smoothness, and ease of care. The special 50/50 cotton poly blend is virtually wrinkle resistant, so you will not need to iron your fitted sheets before you put them on the bed. This makes for an easy time of doing chores but also provides highly flexible bedding that is smooth and cool to the touch. Part of the softness comes from the cotton content, but tensile strength and lack of creasing is part of an attribute or polyester.
