The Splitstream radiator cap increases the boiling point of the coolant in your bike's radiator by increasing the cooling system operating pressure. The stock radiator cap releases coolant at 1.1 BAR (15 psi) of coolant system pressure. The Splitstream radiator cap is available in 1.6 BAR ( 23 psi) 1.8 BAR (26 psi) 2.0 BAR (30psi) Use the 1.6 BAR / 23 psi cap to raise the boiling point on most models, especially helpful if you are running aggressively advanced ignition programs, a high compression piston or aggressive cam. The 1.8 & 2.0 Bar caps are for bikes running HD radiators as the stock radiators are not quite strong enough to operate at sustain high-pressure levels. Show more
