The Sierra Fly Co Splitwing Pinky PMD is a specialized dry fly pattern designed to imitate the vulnerable Pale Morning Dun as it hatches, featuring a unique pink body that targets specific hatch variations found in Western waters. This "Pinky" coloration is a key attractor, appealing to trout that are keyed in on PMDs with a slightly pink or rusty hue often seen during the heat of the hatch. The fly's split wing design ensures it sits perfectly on the water's surface film, making it highly effective for selective trout rising to the emerging mayfly dun.
