The SpoolTek Fatty has a short, thick, baitfish profile designed to emulate pilchards, croakers, pinfish, finger mullet, herring, threadfin shad, gizzard shad, bunker and others. T he lure's most unique feature is the internal spool containing a stainless steel leader (braid for Bass colors only) that will separate from the lure when a fish strikes. This allows anglers to use lighter leaders attached to the eyelet of the lure, thus enhancing the action while preventing breakoffs due to the internal leader.
