Fits small hands The BABYBJÖRN Spoon is designed to help young children eat on their own. The Spoon has a short handle that is easy for small hands to grip. The spoon is compatible with the shape of the BABYBJÖRN Plate and designed to make it simple for your child to scoop up food. Since children up until about the age of three readily switch hands, the spoon can be held in either the right or left hand. Well-conceived design The shape of the spoon’s blade allows your child to scoop food up easily. The backmost area of the blade is raised to help nudge food towards baby’s mouth. The groove on the back of the handle ensures that the spoon will not fall into the plate. Easy to clean The BABYBJÖRN Spoon is easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. It is also microwave-safe at low heat. Materials The BABYBJÖRN Spoon is made of polypropylene (PP) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The plastic is certified safe for foods and complies with the safety standards for plastics both in Europe (EEC) and the USA (FDA). This product is PVC-free and contains no bisphenol A (BPA), phthalates, cadmium, lead, bromine or chlorine. Moreover, the plastic is recyclable. Product care The BABYBJÖRN Spoon is microwave-safe at low heat, max 195°F/90°C. The spoon is dishwasher-safe. However, avoid placing it near the heating coil. Can be held in either the right or left hand The BABYBJÖRN Spoon works in either hand, right or left. This is important, as children up until about the age of three readily switch hands.
