Introducing a new concept of water drainage and contact feeling thanks to dual-compound on the rear tire combined with Interact™ technology and high silica compounds. Compound: Front tire is a single-compound, 100% Silica construction with excellent chemical grip. Tread Patterns: Higher percentage of grooves allow total water drainage right from the first lean angle, while maintaining an extraordinary contact feeling. The longitudinal center section is slick without any grooves, providing a larger contact patch for more grip in straight line acceleration. Variable depth & width of grooves increases lateral ‘push’ on dry and optimize water drainage at higher lean angle. Bridges keep groves wide open for efficient water drainage, provide tread stability, and reduce wear. Handling & Grip: The combination of profiles derived from the Road Racing activities with high stiffness structures delivers an extremely agile handling for a sporty riding style on all roads. The improved Sporty Handling transmits a strong feeling of safety and predictability, regardless of the conditions. Silica compounds combined with a special tread pattern continues the sporty riding stiye in cold conditions, on wet roads, and on greasy & grimy road surfaces.
