Monarda punctata Western Iowa source (semi-clean) Whimsical green flowers adorned with pink-speckled frills. These are really tubular flowers and petals, as is common with mint-fam ily plants. Like other mints, these flowers are excellent additions for pollinators and other beneficial insects. Plants grow best on sandy sites with part shade to full sun.
