It's native to Australia and one of the smallest birds, on average an eight gram of colourful joy. It likes to forage high in the eucalyptus canopy, so it's rather difficult to spot. The Spotted Pardalote is found in eastern and southern Australia from Cooktown in Queensland through to Perth in Western Australia.
