I made this piece to capture what coming out of a season of healing feels like. Spring is a bright, celebratory piece that captures the feeling of warmth and restoration. I used a palette of yellow, orange, and green; colours that remind me of sunlight, renewal, and growth. The green especially symbolises new beginnings. I created this piece as a reflection on how deeply we can feel joy after hardship. Like the season itself, it’s a reminder that light always follows darkness; and when it comes back, it means something.
