Anna Kennel is a Sicilian painter and printmaker based in Palermo. Trained at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Palermo and the International Schools of Graphic Arts in Venice and Urbino, she has developed a disciplined, luminous visual language over a career spanning more than five decades. Her work is rooted in a Mediterranean sensibility and centers on the relationship between humanity and the natural environment, often addressing themes of balance, fragility, and transformation through carefully structured compositions and refined surfaces.
