It is best to bring it inside, but if the statue is too large, cover it with burlap and wrap it in dark plastic to protect it. When placing the cast stone statue, the ground should be a permeable surface, like gravel, pavers or concrete, placing it on soil, mulch or grass may cause damage. When placing the cast stone statue, the ground should be a permeable surface, like gravel, pavers, or concrete; placing it on soil, mulch, or grass may cause damage.
