Breeding season in parrots can mean the difference of a calm, sweet feathered friend and one who wants nothing more than to... well, you know. This often leads to frustration, aggression, and other behavioral issues during these two times of year (yep, it's not just a spring time thing!) In this course we demonstrate how triggers such as certain textures of food and specific ways of touching and petting can launch your bird into those horror-mones that have you wondering where your best friend went! Even things like the amount of daylight and certain enrichment items can be the culprits in creating drastic changes in your bird! The best part? We show you with our very own birds what this does and does not look like so you know exactly how to avoid setting off those really weird triggers! I have done consults with Jamie and Dave, done home visits, gone on free flight trips, called them screaming when my hormonal bird wouldn’t leave my messy closet (LOL!) and yet I STILL learned so much from this video! Some stuff was just a great reminder (I need to get better at switching the cages around more often!) and other stuff was like they were in my head and addressing issues I’ve currently been having with my extra hormonal blue and gold, Woodrow. Also, on top of all the amazing information, I was also laughing almost the entire time! What fun!
